Photos by Abby Koch-Mustang football showed their strength with a 55-0 win in the first round of the NAIA playoffs against Carroll College. Morningside extends their win streak 9-0 for the season and 38th continuous win in a row.
Senior running back Anthony Sims received offensive player of the game with 137 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Sophomore defensive back Josh Miller received defensive player of the game for his 11 tackles, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and two break ups.
The Mustangs will face Baker University in the quarterfinals on Sat. April 24.
