St. Paul Parking Ramp Gets Green Upgrade-
As I was looking for a good news clip for my assignment, I found this segment online at Eyewitness News which is St. Paul’s local news channel. I thought this was a well written news story. It started out with a good lead of “St. Paul parking lot is getting another green upgrade.” This made me want to keep listening to see what the upgrade was. After the lead it went to a video clip of the ramp being renovated which was interesting to watch and see first hand what was being done to the ramp. It went on to give details about how it is funded and showed a video clip of Mayor Coleman talking about the renovation. It concluded with a little information about what else is “greenly” renovated.
Although this is not a very prominent news story, it is interesting to the residents of St. Paul. This story was short enough to keep my attention, along with having enough video footage to keep me interested.
I also thought that the newscaster spoke very well and did not seem bored and uninterested.
