About Me!!
My name is Sarah Davy.
I am a sophomore here at Morningside College majoring in Corporate Communications with a cluster in Environmental Studies.
I am from Saint Paul, Minnesota and was raised there since day one.
Piano, golf, and photography are my passions and what I love to do in my free time.
My passion for polar bears grows each day. During my junior year in high school I traveled to the Arctic with a group called Polar Bears International and studied polar bears on the tundra for a week. I met 16 other high school students from all over the world while in the Arctic and we studied together and shared our passion for the bears and for our earth.
In high school I wrote for my newspaper, the ‘Como Crier’. This is where my interest in journalism started. As part of a journalism class we had to choose stories to cover and write articles each week. I enjoyed seeing my own work published and hearing people comment about it after reading it.
I hope to gain writing and reading skills in this class and learn the fundamentals of journalism!
