School principals say culture wars made last year ‘rough as hell’
Those voices are part of a new, nationally representative survey of 682 public high school principals, many of whom describe a level of tension and division within their broader school communities that is not only high but, making the job harder. This author does a very good job at giving us an opinion in the first sentence almost wanting us to defend the principals and taking their sides. This author again however kept their opinion on the topic out of the picture and just stated what was being taught in schools and how the curriculum has changed. Overall this was a very very interesting read and this author did a very good job just getting information across without voicing his opinion
The lead summarizes the conclusion of the survey. It’s from NPR (I looked it up), but not exactly broadcast style. It could work.
