Greta Thunberg, a 15 year old from Sweden was speaking in Poland about the climate emergencies in the world.

Greta was at the Al Gore climate emergency speech. This was in Katowice, Poland in 2018. Her main point that Thunberg states is, “You only talk about moving forward with the same bad ideas that got us into this mess.” Talking about how the world bring to table the same solutions that haven’t worked this whole time.

She then said, “You are not mature enough to it like it is.” The world is unable to be straight up with the problems in the world and they can create a plan to change. Thunberg feels as if them doing this and not solving the problem, they are leaving us in the dust and abandoning us.

Thunberg wanted to talk about the situation because she felt it is not being addressed. She wants to start and actual change and show that kids her age are showing they truly care for the climate and are willing to make an impact. She believes there’s still time to persevere the climate, we just need to discover a plan to attack the problem.
