The University of Denver suspended 38 student-athletes due to going to a large, off-campus party. It is said to that the state violated state and public health orders. The students knew the rules and still attended the party. They are going to be suspended for the rest of the fall quarter. The chancellor of Denver said, “We will continue to swiftly pursue disciplinary action if members of our community disregard the protocols and public health orders designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
I feel this post was very good on grabbing my attention and explaining what the whole article is about in just one sentence. I also feel this is very relatable due to being in college right now, and playing basketball. I was able to make my own feelings on the article and feel weather this is right or not. The article was short to the point and explained all the information that was going on throughout the case.
