Gasoline Truck overturned on 48th street and Correctionville rd. Causing sewer lines to be flooded in a two block radius.

Four families evacuated due to the gas spillage. Only caused concern for about two hours until the gas was flushed away.

Fire Chief Charles Hochandel said, “The firemen followed catastrophe and hazmat procedures set up beforehand for just such an occurrence.” The gas was also able to reach the streets and ditches making cars have to go through side roads.
