Sensual Descriptors – Food

James Harden Sour Beard Gummies

The Gummy smells extremely sour, squishes like a piece of foam. It is both red and blue split right down the middle of the gummy. Design is supposed to resemble James Harden but just seems to be like a regular piece of gummy. The dual fruity tastes mix well with the sour coating. The combination of fruit doesn’t specify any one fruit as they just melt together well. The gummy feels to melt in my mouth without chewing. A chew brings a squishy sense to my mouth. All in all a good taste experience.

Chocolate Twinkie

The opening of the wrapper brings the suspense of the taste ahead. It also comes with a chocolate smell from the cake. I can already see the filling start to ooze out of their filling holes from the underside of the twinkie. The Twinkie feels very squishy almost like a sponge which is a good descriptor to the sponge cake covering. The chocolate and inside filling mix very well together to create a desirable tasting experience. You could note the audible “mmmmm” from my mouth as I gave it a taste. Overall a very great tasting experience.

There does seem to be a moment of suspense between the time you open something, and when you eat it. Probably even more noticeable when someone tells you, Don’t eat that yet!

    Good sensory details.
