This story is interesting and newsworthy because it shows how severly covid protocols affected the state of the nation’s economy. The article talks about how even though there is a boost in the current economy, it is still no where near what it was pre covid and factors such as inflation or employment rate are still not where they should be in a healthy economy. For this article, the main target audience would be the average United States citizen who wants to be informed about the current economic state of the nation. I think the article did well at staying non bias, especially for writing about a topic with so much bias and opinion surrounding it. Not swaying to either side of the political spectrum and using a high number of statistic and facts keeps the article balanced. Overall, I thought this article was an interesting look at one of the many victims of the pandemic.
