This is news to the whole campus and students looking to attend here. I have heard talks about wanting a women’s wrestling to come to campus. the audience is all women that are seniors in highs school or already on campus wanting to do wrestling. the purpose is to inform women and the morning side community that women’s wresting will becoming to campus. The benefit is gettin more recruits for the sport and the program bringing in more students and expanding the campus. Morningside gains potential students and helps the image of morning side. Jorden Cliff head coach for the women’s teams and is happy and ready to be the first of many coaches for the morning side women’s wrestling team.

You are correct, Angelo. This is important for recruiting potential athletes. I would add that it presents an image of Morningside as “progressive,” keeping up with changes in athletics. In some ways similar to Morningside adding e-sports. We’re hip to the younger generation, don’t you know.
