The Century long Tradition of changing our clock twice a year is being question by New York Lawmakers. On Nov 7 State lawmakers in New York are trying to make daylight saving time permanent ending the need to push the clocks back an hour in the fall and forward in the spring.

Democratic State Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara and republican state Sen. Joe Griffo are both backing up this proposal for neighboring states.

(State the source) Years of studies have shown American changing their clock twice a year has proven negative impacts on our community’s. witch effects sleep, productivity, concentration, and general well-being.

I went out and asked some of my peers Do you see any effect that changes you after daylight saving times? And would you be affected if the change spreds if New York goes permanent.

Ben: I personally don’t. I have never really notice daylight saving times since all my devices do it automatically. No change in my sleep pattern or work. So I can say it not a big problem to me I would be fine either way.

As you hear not much of a problem. As of now it’s a stand still until further notice we will see of New York and Northeastern united states will make the daylight saving permanent.

In recent news Sioux City man sentenced to 7 years for possessing ammunition as a felon. Mailed Michael Mace Was convicted of five prior crimes in the Woodbury County.  According to press release from the United States Attorney General’s office, in July 2021 Mace and one other person was led the cops on a chase. Mace then threw the fire arm out the window. After the chase came to a stop Mace flees the seen but was later caught. The gun that was discarded out the vehicle was unmarked but the bullets that were loaded had maces fingerprints on them.

Mace was scented to 7 years in prison and is required to do three years of probation apron release. 

In Douglasville an 8-year-old became a hero after helping his family escape a burning home. 8-Year-old Channing told Atlanta news that he knew exactly what to do when he smelled smoke inside of his home.

Channing said “I learned about this in school. If I smelled smoke and there’s somebody in the house, I gotten go tell them.”

Fire officials said it was Channing’s quick thinking and speedy response that saved his family.
