Mockingjay is the third movie in the Hunger Games series. The film was directed by Francis Lawrence and the writers were Peter Craig and Danny Strong. The Hunger Games were originally a book series written by Suzannne Collins. There were three books in the set, but there will be four movies. The last book is being split into two parts.

The last movie, Catching Fire, left off with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) ending the hunger games with a shocking throw, those of you who have seen it or read the books know what I mean. This movie will make the move to the secret underground location of District 13 after District 12 goes up in flames. There, President Coin persuades Katniss to become the symbol of the rebellion.
