By Lindsay Martin–Miley Cyrus rocked the stage on Thursday, March 5, when she performed in front of a full crowd at the Century Link Center in Omaha. Although there has been a lot of controversy over her new tour, in my opinion, she killed it.
Cyrus looked beautiful in her extravagant costume choices, though some were a little risqué. Her one-of-a-kind entrance left a definite impression on the audience. She slid in on a huge inflatable tongue that looked like it was coming out of her face. Another memorable moment was when she was straddling a hotdog that was flying above the audience.
Meghann Pucelik said, “It was the most entertaining concert I’ve ever been to. I was looking forward to what was going to happen next, and she sounded wonderful.”
Katie Weis commented, “The concert was amazing, and definitely entertaining. The crowd was full on energy, and I had an amazing time.”
Aside from the crazy props and promiscuous dance moves, Cyrus’ voice sounded magnificent. As an audience member not only did I enjoy the music, but I also had a great time. Even though there has been so much controversy regarding the tour, she was extremely entertaining, and I believe the concert is a “must see.”
