The 9th annual Palmer Research Symposium was held Wednesday, April 18, on the Morningside College Campus. Over 200 students presented their research through a panel, speech, or poster presentation. The student presentation pieces ranged from every major on campus and were presented in the Yockey Room and Lincoln Center. Students, faculty, and people in the Sioux City area were welcomed to come watch and listen the research presentations given.
Sophomore Kelsie Pomerenke attended the event. “I didn’t get to go to all of the presentations, but the ones I went to were very well planned out, and I found them very interesting”.
Students were able to present independent research or in-class research from the Fall or Spring semester. The presentations were put into similar categories and judged. Students were able to receive feedback from the judges and then a winner was chosen.
