Photos by Abby Koch– The women Mustangs’ fourth quarter scoring burst helped them secure a 82-60 win against Midland. With this win, the Mustangs move their win streak to eleven. Junior Taylor Rodenburgh led the Mustangs, collecting 23 points off the bench. This is Rodenburgh’s second straight game getting 20 plus points off the bench.
Mustang men’s sharp shooting earned them a 98-72 win against the Midland Warriors. Sophomore Will Pottebaum’s new career high of 32 points and shooting eight for nine three-pointers pushed the Mustangs to be on top. Morningside moves their win streak to seven.
Both men’s and women’s teams take on University of Jamestown on Wednesday at home.
