Pictures that mean whatever you want them to.

#6 – Laboratory

Morningside business student and men’s soccer player, Jonas Markfoged, pictured in “the lab” as a part of his road to recovery. As evident in the picture, he has braces on both of his knees as he recently had surgery on both knees. He is still early in his recovery journey, so he is only able and allowed to work-out his upper body at the moment. Throughout his journey to recovery, he will be spending the most of his hours in the gym, his laboratory to better health.

Portrait – Sander

1. The image is well taken in a professional setting and it highlights some of my features, such as the green in my eyes, as well as texture and color of my hair, which gives off my personality well. 2. The picture might seem dark and it could’ve been brighter, which can be edited after the picture is taken. The photographer could’ve instructed me to maybe adjust my shirt to highlight the name of the school/team better.

#1 – Architecture

The beautiful Buhler Outdoor Performance Center in the winter weather. A piece of architecture that isn’t as appreciated as it deserves to be; the glass backdrop, stone monument, and the wooden roof with the curved beams truly is stunning.

#3 – Human Interest

This is my girlfriend, Agnes Garder. Like me, Agnes is an international student and she has therefore gotten the chance to do her OPT, which gives her permission to work in the US for a year. Here she is waiting for the bus, as it is the only way she can get to her work. She is working at the non-profit, Mary J. Treglia Community House, which is located in downtown Sioux City. Her passion is to help the people who need it the most, which says all you need to know about her. This picture beautifully, visually describes a beautiful girl (literally and figuratively), in a not so beautiful setting, going out of her own way to help make the world a better place.
