(Sioux City, IA) — Early Thursday morning, a car chase with a stolen vehicle ended with a crash, an on foot pursuit, and an arrest. Jordan Gonzalez writes in the Sioux City Journal that Forrest Orestes Lepe of Sioux City allegedly stole a car with a female passenger in morningside. The theft turned into a police chase at around 7:15 that morning, near Glenn Avenue and South Olive Street. KMEG. Lepe crashed the car around the 1800 block of South Palmetto Street, leading to an on-foot pursuit. Authorities apprehended Lepe near Laurel Avenue and South Olive Street. KCAU. Charges have been pressed, but no court date has been set, yet.
