Reincarnation would be quite useful, at least in my perspective. It would give me multiple lifetimes to do more good in this world. Or would it be a different world if I resurrected enough times? Quite an enticing thought. Anyway, Hinduism supports this idea. In fact, it is one of their main principles. Yet, the Hindus would much rather NOT resurrect. They would actually prefer only have one life rather than many lives. Once you think of it, Hinduism is the exact opposite of Christianity beliefs. Christians want many lives. Hindus want one life. Obviously, I am a Christian with what was previously mentioned. What I can’t get is where did all of these ideas come from? How did it come around? I am truly stumped about that. I have several ideas. But, I doubt any of them are correct.

Does it ever bug you to think about where the people that believe in Hinduism believe they go when they decide to stop being reincarnated? They believe their life just ends. As Christians, we believe that there is eternal life (whether in hell or in heaven). My mind is just not capable of comprehending the end of my existence. I don’t know about you, but it intrigues me. Like you said in your blog, I’m also stumped. We have grown up in such a different culture. It is almost impossible for us to be able to fully grasp these concepts of Hinduism.
