Actually, I don’t mind at all living with my parents for at least 4 years, if not, 8. I am planning on getting my masters in both of my majors, computer science and business. Obviously that will take some time. And a lot of money. So, staying with my parents seemed to be a very logical and practical choice. Besides, it’s not like they are tyrants. They are fair. They are expect certain rules to be followed. They expect me to do chores and help out around the house. Other than that, life is literally easier for me to be a commuter than living in the dorms.
Another reason why I wanted to go to Morningside was because of the fact that I wanted to learn more in general. I wanted the education. I wanted to learn. I simply wanted to be successful. Morningside college is giving the opportunity to do so.
I completely understand where you are coming from with the location stand point. I am an hour and a half away from home and am living in the dorms and part of me regrets this decision. My family comes first; it is because of this that I wish I would have went to one of the two colleges within fifteen minutes of my home so that I could still be living with my family. I think this was a good factor you considered in choosing this college. Also, you probably made the right decision. I wish I would have.
