Yesterday, merely three hours after her wedding, Laurette Brunson, was shot. Around five o’clock the police were called to 617 Jackson Street. The police suspect Laurette’s husband, 50 year old Richard Brunson, of shooting her with a .22-calibre handgun. The groom was gone when the police arrived on the scene. According to Vicki Holmes, one of the Brunson’s neighbors, everything was fine earlier that day. Police are still looking for Richard Brunson.
