In the clip we watched from the movie we were suppose to find what the message was and who was it going from and to.  To me the message was to the girl from the older lady who was a guest in the home.  The message was they knew that the young girl was a thief.  The older lady was trying to tell the younger girl that they are aware everyone has a bad judgment call and her stealing was just that.  She needs to be careful or she needs to right the wrong she had done.
