Stuart Scott, heartwarming, fight on speech at the ESPYs…
Stuart Scott is fighting a rare form of cancer. He was awarded the Jimmy V award at the ESPYs which signifies a deserving member of the sporting world who has overcome great obstacles through perseverance and determination.
In Scott’s speech he mentioned the struggles that he was going through and the people that were there by his side the whole way. He told us to “live, live, and fight like hell”. He also spoke about the purpose and the reasons he is the way he is. “It’s how you live and why you live. What you live for.”
His daughter came up on stage and gave him a hug. Signifying his words, “This is not a solo fight”.
Stuart Scott is an inspiration to us all. To continue on and make sure we care for the ones that are closest to us.
