Kelsey Ann Nelson

New: Morningside College Golf team member,

Original: Kelsey Ann Nelson, became apart of this world on March 27th, 1992. She was born into a family of two boys, Lucas, 23, and Jason, 40. Kelsey was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois.

She is a pretty well rounded person since she has been dancer for fourteen years, plays piano and guitar, and is member of the Morningside golf team. Also, she recently was the only to place at a recent golf tournament for the golf team, (seventh place) which was a pretty big deal.

Disney World, as she told me, was her all time favorite vacations that she ever took, and do you blame her? Disney World is amazing. She also excitingly told me that she would love to go to Australia some day. It’s nice for her too because she actually has friends that live there so she doesn’t have to spend the extra money for a hotel!

As Kelsey begins her junior year here at Morningside, she pursues her dream to become a Golf Channel reporter by majoring in Mass Communications.

Eating Blue Bunny Chocolate Covered Ice Cream

When you open the dull paper covering the delightful ice cream on a stick, you are just anticipating how good it will be. When I finished opening the package I was somewhat disappointed because the ice cream was slightly melted and some of the chocolate was coming off. But let me tell you, it was still delicious. It is the perfect treat for a hot August day like this. When the chocolate crunches in your mouth after the first bite, and every other bite after that to say the least, you know you made the right decision to continue eating it. Even if it continues to melt and becomes more difficult to eat, it is still worth it. As you finish, you are realizing that you want more ice cream but since you have self control you won’t get up and get another.

First Music Video… from Space

http://www.cnn.com/2012/08/29/us/mars-single/index.html?hpt=hp_bn1

If you watch the video that I posted along with this, then you would find the whole thing kind of interesting. Will.i.am premiered his song “Reaching for the Stars” this month with footage from Mars. I think this is newsworthy because in the video it talks about how the music video could interest students in learning about space and becoming more interested all together. Also, I believe that this is pretty remarkable that there is a music video out there with footage of Mars. This has definitely interested me into learning more about the music video and space.
