Greta Thunberg fiercely addresses the immature unwillingness of world leaders to fully admit there’s a global climate change crisis.

At the COP in Katowice, Poland last night, 15-year-old climate activist Thunberg said, “You are not mature enough to tell it like it is,” referring to world leaders only caring about popularity and economic growth.

According to her, civilization is “being sacrificed” so few people can “continue making enormous amounts of money.” In addition, political leaders try to combat climate change with the same ideas that lead to the climate crisis in the first place.

Thunberg also said that the world cannot solve a crisis without treating it like one and ads, “If solutions within the system are so impossible to find, maybe we should change the system itself.”

According to her, even small groups and communities can make a change. And “That change is coming,” Thunberg says to the present climate change negotiators, “whether you like it or not.”
