I interviewed Ashley Duncan. Ashley is a 19-year-old sophomore from Carnarvon, Iowa. The reason why she came to Morningside College was that it is a smaller sized college which has a feeling of familiarity. Ashley is majoring in Mass Communication and wants to become a reporter after College. She says, “I want to become a reporter because I’m a naturally curious person and I like to explore and find stuff.” She additionally really likes writing so she is planning on turning her hobby into her job.

In her free time, she says she enjoys reading and “annoying her friends” – but of course just in a good way. Her favorite food is any kind of pasta. Ashley has two cats named Butters and Jack and two dogs called Piper and Zeus. She can speak two languages – English and Spanish – and would like to travel to any place in Europe someday.
