Classmate Story with anecdote

To be egotistical means to be excessively conceited or absorbed in oneself. Alex Ogorzaly fits right into that description.

Alex often thinks of himself as someone who sets goals and then achieves them. According to Alex “I want to be the best I can be at what I set my mind to and I will stop at nothing to succeed.” Alex played football at Morningside College and “ran people over.” He goes on by saying that he would be starting if the coach liked him. Although Coach Ryan always talks about putting the team before yourself, Alex ended up taking his senior year off because he wanted to enjoy his last year of college. He thought he should have gotten more playing time and that did not happen.

Alex also plays Pokemon religously. He is trying to level up his Pokemon and beat the game. The game does take a long time to beat and Alex is determined that he is the best at that game.

“I will put myself in front of others to protect myself at all times.” He always watches his own back and makes sure that he is doing good. He plays out all scenarios in his head all the time and makes sure that he chooses the one that best favors him.
