My name is Dayne Davis. I am a freshman at the University of Morningside. Right now I am currently a Mass Communications Major recently switched from Biology. What I hope to gain from this class is a baseline understanding of how journalism works. Specifically when it comes to what things attract consumers of the media and what separates the top media outlets from the unknown outlets when it comes to journalism. Outside of class I enjoy spending time on the court playing basketball. I grew up playing basketball and I will always have a love for the sport. I also love playing football and being around the sport. When I’m not doing something involving either of those you could catch me just hanging out with friends or playing video games. Working out is also a hobby of mine.
