At age 115, Bessie Hendricks has been through 21 presidents, 2 world wars, the great depression and other interesting historical events such as the sinking of the titanic
Alex Van Dyke, a local iowa resident, thinks that it’s very interesting to have the oldest person in the United States live in the same state as him

All Three of Hendricks’ surviving children joined her for a birthday party at Shady Oaks Care Center in Lake City, where they celebrated what few can ever do.
American Basketball Start Brittney Griner has been recently sent to a penal colony in Russia to serve her sentence for drug possession
Griner was convicted on August 4th for having vape canisters containing cannabis oil in her luggage at Moscow’s Airport
Griners legal team said she left for the center on November 4th, they don’t know exactly where she is or where she will end up, but they expect to be notified when she has reached her final destination
This arrest has caused an uproaring in the United States bringing different perspectives of each view onto the table.
Some think that it is her fault and she should accept the punishment, while others think that she is being wrongfully detained just because she is a well known U.S. citizen

Morningside football continued their electric streak last Saturday with an impressive 58-3 win over Doane from Lincoln Nebraska.
Racking up over 500 yards total on offense and only allowing 169 yards on defense against the Tigers sounds like another great performance along with perfect formula for the success that has drove Morningside to be one of the best teams in all of the NAIA
Luke Johannsen played a huge role in the game as well being his first start in his college football career.
