Hi! my name is Carissa Powell and I am a sophomore. I was born in Iowa, but I grew up and went to school in South Sioux City, Nebraska. My house is only 15 minutes away but I almost never go home due to my busy schedule filled with basketball and homework. Coming to Morningside I was exploring majors and then half way through the year I finally decided on mass communications to become a weather woman on a news station. Over the summer I changed my mind and switched my major to graphic design with a minor in advertisement, as of right now I am really happy with my decision.
