Hurricane Michael

Over the years Florida has suffered many hurricanes, but hurricane Michael is the most recent devastator, being the third most powerful storm on record.

I was able to find a news video coming straight from Panama City where most of the damage is happing. ABC news was able to cover the destruction live, and visually show how much destruction Florida has overcome.

There are very large shortages of water and power throughout the state, and people are coming together to work towards fixing everything that they can.

In another article on ABC news they cover many of the numbers and statistics that have gone with the storm. Some of these numbers include casualties, wind speed and inches of precipitation.

Some of the content is different between the two articles whereas the video really focuses on the visual aspect of damage and what people are doing to help the cause. The article focuses more on how much damage has happened and exactly what areas are taking the hardest damage.

The length of both storied are very similar even though they are not going over the exact same information. These stories each cover their own take of the incident which helps to get all of the information across.

The lead for the video seemed to give more detail before the camera was set on the on site reporter. It was able to discuss what information was going to be presented, who the article was about, and where the most damage was located.
