1 death and 3 injured in local Townsville car crash on Hwy. 20.
Moyer Quick, aged 65 and a resident of Townsville, was killed in a collision of two cars which happened on Hwy. 20 around 11 am yesterday morning.
Three survivors were transported to Marian Health Center. Randy Radin, 17, of Townsville is in critical condition. He was driving the truck that collided with Quick’s truck. Other survivors include Dorthy Quick, 61, Moyer Quick’s wife who is in “good’ condition and Maxine Steuerwald, 47, continues to stay in “fair” condition. The relation between Steuerwald and the Quick family remains unknown.
The accident, which is under investigation, occurred as both vehicles were heading in a westerly direction on the two-lane highway. Quick went to pass Radin but his vehicle’s rear-end struck Radin’s truck. The impact sent both vehicles into the ditch on the north side of the road.
