James was born on December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio. At an early age, Lebron found his love for the game of basketball and went on to being one of the best high school players ever.
Lebron James is a basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. James has been playing basketball his whole life, and started gathering national attention in high school as one of the top prospects of all time. James went on to skip college, and became the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. With Lebron’s skillset, athleticism, and talent, he became a 4 time MVP, and went onto win 4 NBA Championships (2 with the Miami Heat, 1 with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers). James is still playing for the Lakers and continues to play at the highest level.
James is not only a basketball player though, he is the father of his two sons, Lebron James Jr. and Bryce, as well as his daughter Zhuri. He is also the husband to his high school sweetheart Savanah Brinson, who is the mother to his children as well. Off the court, Lebron has been a member of the Nike team since 2003 and signed several endorsement deals, including a lifetime deal for $90 million which could net him over 1 billion dollars. James also started the Lebron James Foundation which helps single parents in need, as well as starting a school, the I Promise School, where he gives all graduating kids a full ride scholarship to the University of Akron, Ohio. On top of all this, James is very outspoken on social media, talking about social injustice, and many other problems going on in the world today.
Lebron is by far my favorite basketball player, and famous person. I am a big fan of Lebron because of his excellence in basketball, as well as his voice, and him standing up for what he believes in.
