Yesterday, a South Iowa City native was killed in a two car collision on Highway 28.

Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office announced that Moyer Quick was killed in a car collision with a truck driven by 17 year old Randy Radin. A recent autopsy revealed that Quick may have suffered from a heart attack, which could have caused the crash.

Injured in the accident was Dorothy Quick, 61, Maxine Steuerwald, 43, and Randy Radin, 17. All survivors were transported to Sioux City General Hospital, where Quick and Steuerwald are in fair condition. However, Radin is in critical condition after the crash with a fractured skull and internal injuries.

Dorothy Quick has been released since the crash, and Steuerwald is scheduled to be released from the hospital soon as well. The accident is still under investigation by the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office.
