The Big 10 Conference

The big 10 (which now has 12 teams after Nebraska joined this summer) has announced that they will split the conference into two, six team divisions. The major news swirling around the two divisions is about 2 rivalries. Ohio State and Michigan is one of the oldest and most storied rivalries in college football and the two are not in the same division. However, fans need not worry because it has been confirmed that these two teams will keep scheduling each other at the end of the year. Another soon to be rivalry is Iowa and Nebraska. These two teams have been put in the same division and will be playing each other every year. This is important news because it effects a large number of people around here. Most people in the Siouxland either side one way or another with these two teams and are excited for this rivalry to begin on November 24th, 2011 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
