Comments(1) | This article does a good job of remaining neutral and reporting the facts. It annoys me that people in high positions of power are allowed to make speeches reporting fake facts, just so that they can besmirch someone that they don’t agree with. Just four years ago I never thought there was going to be a day when the media was going to have to fact check the President or Vice President. This article was structured well by having the headline and opening grab your attention before going on to explain the headline and providing facts about the case that caused the Vice President to make claims like this.
Politicians have always lied, to some extent. And the media have generally called them on their lies. Trump, however, is another level of lying. He is shameless. It is impossible for the media to keep up with. And with news silos, most people never see the fact checking.
