News Comment #9–11.1.12

I’ll continue my trend in politics with this article.

FoxNews.com Article

According to this article, Hillary Clinton knew about the weaknesses of the embassy at Benghazi one month before the attack took place. I expect this from Fox News. Even though the attack took place a month and a half ago, they’re still coming out with new information. This concerns me. One, because I’m not seeing anything about this on CNN, MSNBC, or NBC. Two, it seems this is being down played because of the election. This article seems to imply a cover-up.

They use a few quotes from the State Department, but nothing of substance. The picture doesn’t really relate to the article. I think they should have used a picture of Hillary, or another higher-up.

This is a relevant story to the American public, but more specifically, relevant to conservatives. Overall, I’m not very impressed. The only positive I would take away is that they’re doing follow up on a very controversial issue, which is good.

A local bride is in the hospital just hours after taking her vows, suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

It is alleged that shortly after the wedding at 617 S. Jackson street yesterday, the bride, Laurette Brunson, threw a bowl of macaroni salad at her new ‘hubby’, Richard Brunson, and he decided to fight food with a .22 caliber handgun; a seemingly unfair advantage.

Thirty relatives and friends at the couple’s home attended the ceremony, which began around 2PM, sources say. Around 5PM an argument broke out, leaving macaroni everywhere, and the bride on the floor, all shot’n stuff. We were able to speak briefly with Walter Corse, a neighbor of the Brunson’s.

Neighbors notified the authorities immediately. When the police arrived, Mr. Brunson was nowhere to be found. His whereabouts are still unknown.

Mrs. Brunson, however, is resting comfortably at St. Luke’s hospital, where hospital officials say she is in satisfactory condition.

So if you’re out there Mr. Brunson, you can finish the job at St. Lukes. 2720 Stonepark Blvd. Open Monday-Sunday, 24 hours.
