Covid Reaction Interview

I interviewed Emily Rotthaler, a sophomore at Morningside College. And she doesn’t think people are being responsible and taking care of themselves for others. Emily thinks that masks should be required everywhere such as residence halls instead of just learning buildings. Emily tries to avoid exposer but staying 6ft from people, always wearing her mask, and staying away from places she might get exposed. But what she is afraid of is “not being able to control what the people around me do.” With cases doubling since last week, Emily wasn’t surprised in the rise of numbers because of what she saw at the football game Saturday night. The stands were packed and there were very few people with masks. Although, the cases are rising she believes that school should remain open because it would be dramatic if they did.
