Native American Boarding School System
Thousands of Native American children are being sent to boarding schools around the country. This began in the early 19th century where many children were forcibly removed from their homes. Most of these children were beaten and forced to do hard labor. Some also never returned back to their families. Hundreds are known to have died as well. This article does a very good job getting the point out. It had a bunch of pictures and news article that attracted my attention.

I haven’t followed the story, but I think most of what is being reported now is what happened in the past. Most of these schools went out of existence.
Be clearer on the summary, and on you comments. Why is the story important? Why is it important people know this? Is it objective?
