The shooter was reported in at least two locations, and there are multiple reported victims. The police said that the shootings occurred in a bar and a bowling alley, and want people to stay inside and lock their doors.
The suspect is a man wearing a brown hoodie, and carrying a semiautomatic rife. He was seen driving in a white S.U.V., and police are still searching for him. The City of Lewiston released a statement saying, “refrain from approaching unfamiliar individuals.”
I think this article does a good job of reporting on an event that just happened. This is breaking news, just like all shootings, and they did a great job of only reporting what they knew was true. They gave the details that they had and didn’t try to make things up. They also used the inverted pyramid well which helps the reader. I feel like once more details come out there will be better articles to read for this situation, but based off the fact that this event just occurred this article was solid.

You must have caught an early report Wednesday night. Breaking news is challenging, especially mass shootings where there is lots of confusion and contradictory reports.
