Deadly Collision in South Iowa City

A deadly collision in South Iowa City leaves one dead and three injured.

Moyer Quick (65), South Iowa City resident, was killed in the accident when he collided with another vehicle, driven by Randy Radin (17) of Swan Lake.

Autopsy shown that Quick might have had a heart attack, which is what’s believed to have caused the accident.

Radin was transported to hospital, along with wife of Moyer Quick, Dorthy Quick (61) and other passenger Maxine Steuerwald (43).

South Iowa Highway Patrolman, Patric Stewart, said Moyer Quick went to pass Radin when his rear-end struck Radin’s vehicle. The impact sent both vehicles into the ditch. Quick’s vehicle rolled once.
