Photo Ethnography

A heartfelt moment watching my youngest brother hand my mom a rose at graduation because he is the last on the family to graduate.
A photo to capture one of my favorite parts of summer … derby season!
This is my niece, Opal, she is one of the greatest things to happen to me!
I love to take sunset/sunrise pictures because I love all the colors and they just make me happy.
Here is a cow I drew. Her name is Susan. I love to draw because it is a good stress reliever.
Photography is something that I am interested in pursuing after I graduate.
I put a picture of my car because I am always driving somewhere, whether it’s to school, work, or just on an adventure.
This is my dog, Coco, and as he gets older I love to cherish the walks I still get to go on with him.
I absolutely love flowers so I made lego ones so they would never die.
I put a picture of the playground from the school I work at because during the school year a majority of my time is spent at work.

Sounds of Morningside

The empty stands of the softball stadium echo with the spirit of our university. Though silent now, each seat holds countless memories of cheers, victories, and camaraderie. This serene moment captures the essence of a place where dreams are chased, and community thrives, waiting eagerly for the next wave of energy and excitement.
Though it may not be the prettiest sound of Morningside this picture of the dumpster represents the sounds of students cleaning out their dorm rooms and emptying their backpacks to start their summer vacation. It tells the story of late-night study sessions, spontaneous pizza parties, and the ever-present hustle of college life.
