Chapters: Bringing Morningside College to you
Greetings! We had three very successful Chapters that were launched in the fall, Denver, San Francisco, and Kansas City. As I look back at these events, and talk to those who attended, I am very excited about the future of the Chapters program and the positive impact that it is going to have on our alumni and on Morningside College. We are currently working on launching three more Chapters in the spring.
The Los Angeles Chapter launch is scheduled for March 1st, at the home of Don Ambroson, class of ’66. This chapter is headed by D.J. Pick ’02, and Leah Winter ’08. If you are in the Los Angeles area, we would love to have you attend this event, have the opportunity to reconnect with other Alumni, and share all of your great memories from your days at Morningside. We are also in the process of launching chapters in Chicago and in Dallas – Ft. Worth. If you would like more information about these chapters or would be interested in spearheading this effort, please feel free to contact me.
The success of this program is a testament to the incredible alumni we have, who have volunteered their time and efforts to make this endeavor possible. From the very inception we have had alumni help with the structuring of the program, organization of events, making of phone calls, and so much more. The Chapters program is truly a volunteer driven program and we could not make any of this a reality without your support.
We are continuing to evaluate this program and are putting together tools that will help our existing chapters. We are also looking at new cities around the country to launch Chapters.
