I’m Augusta-Lynn Newman who was born and raised here in Iowa by my mother, Sara. I am now 20 years old this year and the oldest out of my brothers, Xavier (18) and Slayden (9). Growing up in a single-parent household has taught me about being responsible and independent. My favorite things to do to pass time is to write, draw, hangout with friends, go outside, and read. I love writing and that what drew me to want to expand my education.

I graduated High School at IKM-Manning and now attend Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa. At Morningside I am going to major in Mass Communication and Marketing with a minor in Political Science. This year I am a sophomore and ready to see what this year has in store for me.
