In chapter 3 the section that I could most relate to was about the short head and long tail. While I was reading about the consequences about long tail I wondered how much illegal music downloads affect the businesses like I Tunes and Rhapsody? Most people I know don’t buy all their music and movies off of legal sites.
Another thing that I thought about was online stores like Amazon. Eventually will web sites like these take over stores like Wal-Mart and Target?! It’s hard to imagine that even happening and I’m not sure it ever could but the convinces of having your computer sitting on your lap ordering a new TV while watching a movie in your living room sounds irresistible.
