Council subjecting vaping products to Omaha tobacco tax

The Omaha city council voted to implement a 3% tax on vape products for the city in order to help build a new cancer center at the university of Nebraska Medical Center. The tax may help in deterring young people from even starting vaping. Vape product sellers warned that the tax may drive people from buying in Omaha and resorting to online purchasing and going out of city limits.

I think this is relevant because a lot of student at Morningside use vape products. If Sioux City follows suit with a similar tax this could affect many students. I think the story is short and to the point, with an ok lead. I think that the story is not that entertaining but very informative and essential.
