{"id":96,"date":"2021-12-15T22:44:02","date_gmt":"2021-12-16T04:44:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/zachnorton\/?p=96"},"modified":"2021-12-15T22:44:02","modified_gmt":"2021-12-16T04:44:02","slug":"broadcast-script","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.morningside.edu\/zachnorton\/2021\/12\/15\/broadcast-script\/","title":{"rendered":"Broadcast script"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Jeff Bezos wants to create the biggest Reef we\u2019ve seen in a long time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp; Joey Roulette of New York Times, Blue Origin, Jeff bazos\u2019&nbsp; space company, wants to team up with other companies to replace the international space station. this comes as NASA is currently seeking replacements for the 20 year old International Space Station.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key contributors to this project are Sierra Space and Boeing. According to Brent Sherwood, Blue Origin\u2019s vice president, \u201cWith their help Orbital Reef plans to generate new discoveries, new products, new forms of entertainment and global awareness of Earth\u2019s fragility and interconnectedness\u201d. Bezos\u2019 goal for this new space station is to hopefully bring people an jobs to space in the future.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We got Alexis Spier\u2019s opinion on this. \u201cQuote\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blue Origin looks to get help gaining revenue from wealthy tourists and other companies. Jeff Bezos has insisted on spending 1 billion dollars per year through Blue Origin on this project, but that won\u2019t be enough to cover the cost. They want to put in 400 million dollars to help get construction underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orbital Reef is only seen through drawings right now, but Bezos wants to start construction as soon as he can. Not a lot of companies are able to pull of the funding and construction for Space Stations, but Bezos looks to be one of the few to succeed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vikings Running Back, Dalvin Cook, was an alleged&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>News came out from Courtney Cronin of espn, Dalvin Cook was allegedly a victim of abuse from his ex-girlfriend about a year ago. She alleged broke into Cook\u2019s house and tried to extort millions of dollars from the star running back. In a recent press conference, Cook explained how he was maced and is innocent in this case. His ex-girlfriend said that she had gone there to end things with Cook, broke into his home and eventually had to mace him because he was attacking her with a broomstick. Police were not called during the altercation and no charges were filed. Cook and the vikings aren\u2019t too concerned about it as Cook believes the truth will come out. We heard from a Vikings fan and their thoughts on this news coming out in the middle of the season.\u201cViking fan quote\u201d Cook is not going to counter sue for this incident and good news for his fantasy owners,he won\u2019t have to sit out any games.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In-N-Out Burger recently tried to get around a covid mandate unsuccessfully&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eduardo Medina of new york times explained how In-N-Out burger in the San Francisco outlet failed to comply with city requirements that all restaurants check the vaccine cards of indoor diners. This caused them to shut down for a little while, yet has reopened their outside diners and takeout.
