So far in this class I have been extremely interested, extremely confused and a mixture of both at the same time. It’s kind of a roller coaster, sometimes I get what we are talking about and sometimes I don’t. This might have something to do with me growing up in a family who didn’t necessarily talk about religion very often, so it’s just a new concept for me. The readings we do are hard and I have to go over them several times to understand them. Some of the readings I don’t completely understand and I have to wait for us to talk about them as a class for it to click in my head. The book we are reading that is linked with Passport I absolutely love. Sometimes I just can’t put it down and read ahead. I’m completely interested in the class and I’m excited to do more, it just might take awhile for me to wrap my head around all of it.

I agree with you that the religion class readings are confusing. I have to read things multiple times in order for me to understand it and I wait to talk about them in class to understand it. I also grew up in a family that didn’t get too involved in talking about religion. My mom and I are catholic, but my dad is Lutheran so we kind of go back and forth between churches. I also love the book The Unlikely Disciple it is very interesting and i like this class. I am excited to see how the book ends.
