The Mustangs also went 11 for 22 from the 3-point line and outrebounded the Wolves 32-30, but the Wolves outlasted the Mustangs to clinch the win 102-94.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Nebraska Wesleyan shot a strong 60 percent in the second half of the game, which led the Prairie Wolves to their\u00a0fifth straight victory and seventh win out of the last eight games. The win moves the Prairie Wolves into a tie for second place in the GPAC with a 3-1 record.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Mustangs&#8217; top performer for the night was Brody Van Ginkel, who went six for 11 from the 3-point line while finishing with 26 points,\u00a0two points from his career-high score. Bryce Koch was also a huge offensive threat for the Mustangs where he put up a double double, finishing with 20 points and game-high 11 rebounds. Brody Egger and Ryan Tegtmeier followed Brody and Bryce with 15 and 14 points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Egger was huge from the 3-point line where he drained four of five 3-pointers and came up with his eighth double figure scoring performance off the bench in the first 11 games of the Mustangs season.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">Morningside&#8217;s next game is in Hastings, Nebraska on Saturday, Dec. 12.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Gabi French&#8211;Morningside men\u2019s basketball team shot an outstanding 55 percent from the field against Nebraska Wesleyan.
