His job also includes buying office supplies, putting up group signs on the Student Government wall, and creating the In&amp;Out for every other senate meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Opposite of senate meetings are committee meetings and as secretary, Kyle is in charge of the student life committee. The student life committee tries to improve Morningside student life on and off campus. Some events they had last year were drink cards and a shamrock hide and seek.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Ideas that Kyle has for the upcoming year include having a more set plan, \u201cright off the bat.\u201d Kyle says about the student life committee, an idea he has includes painting mini pumpkins and drink cards again, \u201cbecause that always goes over really well especially around finals time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">He would like to bring a positive vibe and a welcoming atmosphere to the Student Government Office. He wants the students to understand and know that the office belongs to the Student Government but it is there for the student\u2019s use.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Outside of Student Government Kyle loves sports, especially running and is on the Morningside XC and track team.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Student Government Meetings are Tuesday in the in the Student Government Office, located in the lower level of the Olsen Student Center, at 6:30pm.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Diane Nguyen&#8211;Student Government Secretary Kyle Hiser is a junior majoring in biology and chemistry from Shenandoah, IA.
