Simmons, <em>Whiplash<\/em> grabs you in from the opening scene and never lets go.<\/p>\n<p><em>Whiplash<\/em> is the story of Andrew Niemann (Teller) and his conductor Fletcher (Simmons). Fletcher seems to go Full Metal Jacket on many of his students when they don\u2019t give the performance that is up to his standards. This is his way of pushing the envelope for perfection. When he pushes young Andrew, does Andrew break or will he become the next Charlie Parker?<\/p>\n<p><em>Whiplash<\/em> is now out on DVD and Blu-ray. You can either buy it or rent it through select movie channels. It has a run time of about an hour and forty seven minutes. When I watched it went by so fast because the story is so gripping. <em>Whiplash<\/em> does a great job of holding your attention.<\/p>\n<p>I can\u2019t say anything really bad about <em>Whiplash<\/em>. The dialogue and script are awesome. J.K. Simmons and Miles Teller both give Oscar winning performances. The only weakness could be if you aren\u2019t much for swearing then this movie might not be for you.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of my favorite movies that I\u2019ve seen and one I would definitely recommend seeing. The music scenes are great and Simmons\u2019 dialogue is almost poetical.
